I know I know there are so many books around, wonderful writing abounds but look at how this one stands the test: wizards, adventure, potions, fantastical creatures, Quidditch and IMAGINING for young and Old (that'll be Louis here, Mrs. Edwards and myself-I'm putting me into the 'old'. The last film is currently on the telly so am watching it again even though I've seen it so many times but it's a good story and I don't care what anybody says. They're worth reading as there's much more detail in the books than in the film. |

Lottie has seen the first two films... Just wondered what age you would start reading the books with little ones?

I think, if she's seen the two films then the first two would be fine. I thin the Dementors in "Prisoner of Azkaban' are when it gets scary and I think I might go with maybe KS2 then or certainly play it by ear until that one. WHen Harry is in the train carriage and they start trying to suck his soul out ----ooooh!. Starts to get a bit darker then.

Very excited to have been 'blogged'. Reading Deathly Hallows (again). Everybody should have a book (or 7) where they can open at any page and know exactly what is going on!

What a lovely comment/idea. I go back to HP AND at Christmas I always have to read John Masefield's 'The Box of delights'.
