Little bit scary actually, loved this. Just as it says-an imaginary friend plays a big part in this story and there's quite a scary baddie - read it at bedtime but warning you might end up reading more than you intend during one sitting!

Another enchanting book from A F Harrold (who has a great beard incidentally!) Both books have outstanding illustrations, this one by Levi Pinfold. This is so much more than about being bullied, being lonely, being ostracised but it's a really good way in for EVERYBODY to read. There is much more to it than straightforward overcoming of a bully-it's a must for any class in KS2.
