Here is Daisy, star of Eat your peas but then some very popular chapter books and lots of things to do right at the end of the book too-quizzes and all sorts. Tilly is a big fan and knows much more about Daisy than me. She's also a discerning young reader who is really starting to think about why she likes books SO if she recommends DAISY it'll be GOOD. So these are her thoughts on the Daisy books. You have to imagine the grinning and giggling that went on when she was telling me about the silly things that Daisy gets up to-they are definitely LAUGH OUT LOUD.

Daisy books: 'I love them all. 9/10 THey’re really funny and surprising. Daisy steals penguins, throws maggots in someone’s pants. She picks a dib dab off the ground and eats it and then has a tummy ache.THere’s forcefields around coconuts as she tries to knock them off the stand and they don’t come off. Daisy uses the word actually a lot.'

I think it's worth reading about any young lady who steals penguins from the zoo and basically does what everybody has probably thought when they see them there.

'The Invisible Boy' By Sally Gardner:
"This book is really good and a bit scary but I still enjoyed it a lot. It is fun to read and I love it. It is about a boy whose mum and dad go to the moon and he has to go and stay somewhere. He was going to stay with his friend but his friend was ill so he had to go and stay with his evil next door neighbour......"

BOTH REVIEWS COURTESY OF TILLY DEDICOAT. THANK YOU TILLY AND VERY HAPPY READING :-) We look forward to sharing some more of your recommendations
